Chris Albrecht’s $16.3M Pacific Palisades Estate

Media executive Chris Albrecht and his third wife Tina Trahan listed their newly completed Westside compound for sale more than a year ago for $18 million. In the end, they reduced the asking price to $16.9 million earlier this year, and now the East Coast traditional-style estate has sold for $16.3 million. This is just over the $16 million the couple paid for the unfinished spec-mansion in Riviera, Pacific Palisades, back in late 2017.

A stately white brick house enshrined behind gates and towering privacy hedges on Sorrento Drive offers 10,000+ square feet of light and bright living space on two floors with skylights, high ceilings, hardwood flooring, designer lighting, and plenty of windows.

An entry foyer with a double-height ceiling and clerestory windows features an imposing crystal chandelier. There is a professionally designed chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, an oversized breakfast nook, and a marble center island with ample storage and a sink.

An outdoor patio holds a fireplace topped by a flat-screen TV that opens seamlessly via glass sliders to the family room and dining room on the main level.

The vaulted master retreat upstairs features a fireplace, designer showroom closet, spa-like bath with freestanding soaking tub, and separate walk-in shower. There is also a separate seating area in the bedroom, which leads to a spacious balcony with views of the picturesque gardens.

There are definitely no shortages of amenities here. It includes a lounge/game room, 15-seat movie theater and a mirror-walled gym with Peloton bikes, as well as a marble wet bar with seating that’s ideal for tastings and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.

The expansive lot boasts a flat, grassy yard, sparkling pool, spa, and guest house with dishwasher and sink, as well as a partially covered outdoor kitchen ideal for entertaining. As a final note? Garage with three parking spaces and an elevator.

After working as a talent agent and club owner in New York, Albrecht became a high-profile executive at HBO. Legendary Global was launched by the former president and CEO of Starz in 2020, and he recently took over Legendary’s entire TV operation. As head of Legendary Television, Albrecht is consolidating Legendary’s international (Legendary Global) and domestic television operations.

Originally from Chicago suburbs, Trahan is a former socialite. On the shores of Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, she bought Stone Manor for $16 million in 2017.
