When British aristocrat Colin Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner, purchased the island of Mustique in the late 1950s for around $160,000, the island has been flourishing since then as a luxurious haven for wealthy jetsetters including Princess Margaret and Mick Jagger, who are all looking for a quiet location on the northern tip of the Grenadines surrounded by breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, all from an ultra-discreet location on the northern tip of the Grenadines.
A luxurious Caribbean estate that is up for sale at an astonishing price of $200 million has just appeared for sale on a secluded island in the West Indies, making it one of the most expensive real estate listings in history.

Although Knight Frank listing agent Edward de Mallet Morgan refused to provide the current owner’s name, the records reveal that the villa was built and owned for decades by Harding Lawrence and his wife Mary Wells Lawrence, the late Braniff Airways president and his wife. One of the most legendary Madison Avenue advertising executives of all time was known for his catchy slogans such as “Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh, what a relief,” as well as “I Love New York.”
According to Rich Report, it was built in 1986 as a vacation home for the couple, reportedly at a cost of $17 million, and has been referred to as “The Terraces.” The striking peach-hued structure was designed by architect Tom Wilson and is now known as the Terraces. The compound features nine structures nestled within 17 acres of lushly landscaped land situated on Endeavour Hill, one of Mustique’s two summits, which is one of Mustique’s two summits.
One of the most impressive features of the property is the main nine-bedroom house that comes with an 80-foot swimming pool and murals painted by French artist Jean-Claude Adenin, as well as the guest cottage with its own pool and another building that’s regarded as ‘the biggest entertainment space in the whole island.’

The Mustique Company, a private company owned by island homeowners, manages the property, as well as passing along 12 percent of the island’s taxes and fees to the buyer, which, when taken together, adds an additional $24 million to the purchase price.
