This New 131-foot Superyacht Concept is Like a Private Island

Officina Armare has set its sights on an ambitious goal with its latest superyacht concept. The international design studio introduces the “Espada,” a 131-foot vessel that epitomizes the essence of a private island, promising seafarers the utmost in luxury and privacy.

Named Espada, this new addition boasts a sleek, timeless silhouette with flowing lines, as well as a unique reverse bow designed to smoothly navigate the waves and minimize the discomfort of sea travel.

This four-deck superyacht, thanks to its generous beam of approximately 31 feet, offers an expansive space for relaxation and entertainment both indoors and outdoors. With an interior volume of 380 GT, the living spaces onboard are quite spacious. The main salon exudes elegance and features a wet bar, along with a sophisticated forward dining area. The interior design also incorporates five roomy cabins, accommodating up to 10 guests, as well as quarters for a crew of nine. Located at the aft on the upper deck, the luxurious owner’s suite opens onto a private terrace that provides breathtaking ocean views.

Back on the main deck, an opulent outdoor lounge is situated beneath a stunning glass-bottom swimming pool that casts dappled light on everything below. Staircases flanking the lounge lead to the upper deck pool area, where guests can take a refreshing dip in the inviting waters. The sundeck offers a higher vantage point and features a covered dining area with a bar and a teppanyaki grill for hosting extravagant sky-high gatherings.

Heading down to the lower deck at the stern, the beach club boasts foldable bulwarks that create a sprawling alfresco space. At the heart of this area is a spacious swimming pool surrounded by custom seating. Additionally, the swim platform extends from the stern, making it easy for passengers to access the ocean quickly and effortlessly.

Espada draws its power from two robust Caterpillar C32 engines, each boasting around 1,900 hp. This remarkable engine configuration allows the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots and provides a cruising range of 3,600 nautical miles. In practical terms, this means that you can relocate your private island to any destination you desire.
