Winch Design’s latest addition to Oceanco’s Simply Custom series, a 262-foot superyacht named Reverie, is a maritime enthusiast’s utopia. Drawing inspiration from the profound beauty of daydreams, Reverie is a seamless blend of elegance, sustainability, and innovative design.
The yacht’s design reflects a simple yet sophisticated silhouette, with smooth, sweeping lines that create a sense of flow between the interior living spaces and exterior decks. The open-plan layout ensures easy access to all areas, providing a harmonious experience for guests. Reverie is part of Oceanco’s Simply Custom series, where 17 designers were invited to apply their unique styles to a proven platform. This approach allows owners to enjoy a semi-custom yacht with Oceanco’s renowned pedigree, streamlining the build process and ensuring a faster and less complex construction compared to fully custom cruisers.
In terms of performance, Reverie features a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system capable of running on low-carbon biofuels. The yacht is equipped with variable speed generators, a highly optimized stabilization system, and podded drives, enhancing efficiency and smoothness during voyages.
