Enzo Manca Megayacht Designed to be the Flagship of UAE

Enzo Manca, a Milan-based designer, aspires to create a national flagship for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with his new megayacht concept named UAE One. The 459-foot yacht was collaboratively designed with an unnamed sheikh to serve as the official flagship of the nation. The concept, born out of a special meeting in 2020 between Manca and the UAE sheikh, aims to be truly special and unique, drawing inspiration from traditional defense ships but featuring a distinctive, curvaceous silhouette.

UAE One stands over 130 feet tall and boasts tinted windows for added privacy, contributing to its assertive attitude. With nine decks and over 30,000 square feet of space, the yacht is designed to cater to monarchs, diplomats, and visitors. The interior includes one owner’s suite, eight cabins, 14 mini-suites, and 35 cabins for the crew. The yacht also incorporates three private meeting rooms for confidential discussions and a press area for briefings.

While providing a luxurious experience, UAE One also offers recreational amenities. The main deck features a geometric swimming pool, the foredeck includes a large circular sofa and a cozy fireplace, and there’s a wellness center with a spa. Additionally, the yacht has an expansive swim platform for ocean activities and multiple alfresco lounges for relaxation.

Ensuring efficient transport, UAE One can accommodate a full arsenal of vehicles for air, land, and sea. The yacht features a “mini-internal port” for tenders and submarines, two helipads for helicopters, and one hangar. Although details about the propulsion system were not disclosed, Manca acknowledges the need for substantial power to propel this 459-foot vessel through the water.

Manca anticipates unveiling the first official renderings of the yacht’s interiors by the end of 2023.
