Feadship’s 285-footer with a Glass-bottomed Pool

That’s not a big deal, is it?

A 285-foot superyacht isn’t easy to keep quiet for a whole year, but Feadship has managed to do just that. Since her launch in 2019, Feadship has kept Lonian under wraps.

To enjoy a full year of private cruising without public attention, the owners kept the vessel secret. In addition to being equipped with everything you could ever want or need, the superyacht is specifically designed for sea travel, so achieving this feat was relatively easy.

Rather than mooring in marinas, Lonian spends most of her time cruising with a flotilla of toys and tenders, as well as a 217-foot support vessel with additional equipment and 22 crew members.

Designed by Sinot, she boasts a deep blue hull and dramatic bow. Despite her size, Lonian features extensive glass and stainless steel for a truly modern look.

“She has the presence and stance of a beefy Motoryacht while retaining an elegant and slender air,” the yard said.

Let’s talk about life onboard. She has an incredibly unique glass swimming pool aft, with a translucent bottom that doubles as the beach club ceiling and a built-in movie screen integrated into the edge, because why not?

As if that weren’t enough, the automatic swim platform on the transom hatch opens and closes like the roof of a convertible car. A teak hatch opens first, and the aft door descends before the hatch closes again, leaving no sign of a threshold.

A jacuzzi is also available on the expansive owner’s deck, which has specifically been designed to cool and warm according to the owners’ wishes after a workout on the bridge deck gym.‍

With 22 different openings—platforms, hatches, and doors—Lonian creates a seamless indoor-outdoor flow and allows guests easy access to the surrounding waters. If further exploration is required, there is also an onboard Airbus ACH145 helicopter available for use if needed.

Although the interiors are still under wraps, Feadship did reveal a glass elevator serving all five decks and a lavish lounge with full-beam panoramic views are included. The vessel can accommodate up to 14 guests across seven cabins, including an owner’s stateroom, four generous guest staterooms, and two VIP suites. There are also 15 crew cabins and one captain’s cabin.
