Baglietto’s New 197-Foot Flagship Yacht

Due to its integration of interior and exterior spaces, the shipyard found an owner within three months of launching the concept.

At the Monaco Yacht Show in September, Baglietto Yachts unveiled its new 197-foot 60M flagship, designed by Francesco Paszkowski.

“This model has all the features the market is looking for today, but it also opens new horizons by implementing highly innovative, unprecedented onboard solutions,” Baglietto CEO Fabio Ermetto said. A delivery date of 2026 has been set for the yacht. Construction on a second flagship will begin soon.

Featuring a sharp, traditional-looking forefoot and a sleek stern profile, the exterior is designed to blend the interior with the exterior in a seamless fashion. A seamless look with full access to the outdoors with no overhangs or rough edges. Paszkowski took the same integrative approach to the interior as well. During the day, floor-to-ceiling windows in the salon and dining area make it feel like an open superyacht. At night, the same areas button down to create a formal atmosphere.

“This changes the concept of life at sea, overturning long-established rules that juxtapose sea and land, interiors and exteriors, formal and informal, day areas and night areas,” Ermetto explained.

There is a 1,000-square-foot beach lounge, a swimming pool, a gym, as well as fold-down sides along the yacht, which are all amenities one would expect from a 197-foot superyacht. In the next level, another 1,000 square feet is added, offering a two-tier alfresco dining and socializing area.

Among the upper decks on the first hull will be a main suite and lobby amenities connected by a glass elevator to the lower decks. As well as having an office, walk-in closet, and large en suite with separate toilets, the owner’s deck also has its own pool, which is located forward. The suite has three-sided windows, just like the main deck.‍

A massage room, chef’s galley, and seven cabins that house the 13 crew members are also on the lower deck, along with four other staterooms, including two VIP and two guest cabins.

A 23-foot tender, two jet skis, and a rescue boat can all be stored in the tender garage. A touch-and-go helipad will be available on the bow of the vessel.

A pair of Caterpillar 3512 ACERT engines will power the Baglietto flagship, which is rated for 16 knots at the top and 12 knots at the cruise.‍

As part of its record year, the Baglietto 60M was sold last week. The company sold nine yachts between 135 feet and 197 feet, with 22 more boats under construction. A $14 million investment was also made into its La Spezia and Carrara facilities. Last year, Baglietto opened a European division for its Bertram brand, with Bertram’s US headquarters remaining in Tampa.
