Jeffree Star’s Hidden Hills Megamansion Sold to Burmese Buyers

Jeffree Star finally unloaded his white mega-epicel of a mansion more than a year after putting it up for sale. It sold for $16.7 million, the palatial spread, which spread across 2.8 hilltop acres and may have been the largest and most lavish home in Hidden Hills.

Star’s asking price was $20 million, but that’s comfortably above the $14.6 million he paid less than three years ago. It’s also considerably more than the veteran YouTuber’s last asking price of .5 million, which resulted in a last-minute bidding war, according to The Real Deal.Makeup Mogul Jeffree Star Lists Hidden Hills, California, Mansion for $20 Million | Architectural DigestJeffree Star's New Mega-Mansion Is $14.6 Million of Luxury: Go Inside - E! OnlineAs for the buyers, records indicate they are Pyae and Smile Maung, who are native Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, where they own several businesses. Before recently buying a $3 million home near Beverly Hills, the Maungs lived in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., where they still own a spacious house they bought back in 2015. Hidden Hills is about 70 miles due east from Rancho Cucamonga, a suburban community in San Bernardino County.

Currently living in Casper, Wyoming, Star has expanded his 70-acre residence into a multimillion-dollar ranch operation that encompasses more than 300 acres and includes 150 yaks, which he uses for his yak meat brand.

Despite being huge and luxe in its own right, that Wyoming compound is still a far cry from Hidden Hills, which has every luxury residential amenity you’ve ever seen. Because we have already written about this property in the Calabasas area, we will keep this description brief. A few of the property’s features include a two-story home gym, a glass elevator, a 10-car underground garage, a wine cellar with a tasting room, a movie theater, two attached guesthouses, a detached “barn,” a kitchen with four or five refrigerators, and a huge master suite.Inside Jeffree Star's Hidden Hills mansion, just sold for US$16.7 million: the YouTuber bid farewell to his LA estate to move to Wyoming – but what will happen to his pink Ferrari? |Jeffree Star Finds Buyer for Hidden Hills CompoundMakeup Mogul Jeffree Star Lists Hidden Hills, California, Mansion for $20 Million | Architectural DigestInside Jeffree Star's Former Hidden Hills Home (PHOTOS)YouTuber Jeffree Star Buys $14.6M Hidden Hills Estate (PHOTOS & VIDEO) - Pricey Pads | House, Luxury homes, Mansions luxuryYouTuber Jeffree Star Buys $14.6M Hidden Hills Estate (PHOTOS & VIDEO) | Pricey PadsIt was Star’s relatively short ownership that led to many renovations, including replacing and upgrading electrical, HVAC, and security systems, painting much of the house a glitzy white-and-gold scheme, and installing a walk-in vault to store his multimillion-dollar jewelry collection. A YouTube-famous design team, Mr. Kate, was also hired to revamp the home’s massage and spa parlor, which was filmed on YouTube.

To put it simply, the massage parlor renovation video gives you a sense of the house’s massive scale, as renovating that single space took weeks of planning and construction. It is monstrously large. In spite of managing hundreds of employees and multiple businesses both in Wyoming and California, Star admitted maintaining the hotel-sized structure took a lot of work and time.

But don’t count the cosmetics entrepreneur out of California for good. It’s no secret he and his ubiquitous team of bodyguards and assistants have taken the hot-pink Rolls Royce out to Malibu, where Star is hoping to downsize into a smaller home. Given that the Hidden Hills mansion spanned about 20,000 square feet, that shouldn’t be too difficult.
