Millions of electronic music fans know Anton Zaslavski as Zedd for his contemporary Benedict Canyon residence, which he purchased in early 2018 for around $18.4 million, or roughly $2.4 million more than the Russian-German DJ/record producer paid five years ago for the palatial spec mansion in the hills above Beverly Hills.
In addition to writing/producing/directing “Black-ish,” “Girls Trip,” “Grown-ish,” and the recently released Netflix film “You People,” Kenya Barris is also the buyer. Barris eventually purchased the house at a substantial discount after languishing on the market for a period of time — initially for $26.5 million — following several price reductions and engaging the services of several real estate brokerages.
