A sprawling Calabasas mansion worth $11.8 million was purchased by Britney Spears just seven months ago. It has been revealed by Rich Report that the international pop star has quietly been selling her double-gated estate in the Estates at the Oaks neighborhood for exactly $12 million off-market.The news outlet reports that a potential sale is already in the works and could close as early as February. Spears “quickly moved out of the place after moving in – primarily because she found it too exposed,” and did not spend any money renovating the place.

Her Italianate-inspired mansion in the unincorporated Hidden Valley region near Thousand Oaks was purchased from car dealership mogul Bill Slevin shortly after her June wedding to Iran-born fitness trainer Sam Asghari. This 2008 stucco and terracotta-roof structure features seven bedrooms and nine baths spread over over 11,000 square feet of single-level living space accessible via custom steel entry doors and a 33-foot foyer.

Interiors feature imported onyx, hardwood, and stone floors, vaulted ceilings, wide archways, hand-carved fireplaces, bespoke chandeliers, Ann Sacks mosaic tile designs, and bespoke chandeliers. In addition to the wine cellar, a 10-seat movie theater with Dolby surround sound, a lounge with a wet bar, and a room exclusively dedicated to gift wrapping, there are many glitzy amenities at the hotel.
