A Nascar Legend is Seeking $30 Million for an Indiana Ranch

NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart, popularly known as “Smoke” to his hordes of fans, has put his sprawling Indiana ranch on the market. The luxurious home is located on the outskirts of Columbus, about an hour and a half from Indianapolis. In addition to being the most expensive listing in the state by far, according to Realtor.com, it could also turn out to be one of the biggest residential sales in Indiana history if it goes anywhere near asking price.Nascar's Tony Stewart Puts Indiana Home on the Market for $30 Million, Making it the State's Priciest Listing - WSJInside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchInside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchInside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchInside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchAfter buying the property in the early 2000s, Stewart razed the house and built the “Hidden Hollow Ranch” in 2011. Over 400 acres of land boast a 9-acre lake stocked with bass, and this 19,714-square-foot home boasts six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms crafted from lodge pole pine sourced from the Northern Rockies. The property is also home to plenty of elk, deer, and turkeys. It’s a licensed hunting preserve.

As a three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Stewart retired after two decades as a professional driver. His partnership with industrialist Gene Haas now allows him to co-own Stewart-Haas Racing. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2020. His wife is California-born drag racer Leah Pruett, who has won 11 NHRA races and won Factory Stock Showdowns.

According to Stewart, he enjoyed every inch of the land here, which he calls his “dream home.” It is the perfect blend of entertainment and relaxation. It is always fun to hunt and fish, off-road, or just sit on the porch and observe the stars at night.Inside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchTony Stewart's Ranch Is on the Market, It's More Than You Can Afford, Pal - autoevolutionInside NASCAR champ Tony Stewart's $30M Indiana ranchAn expansive driveway winds through a covered bridge before splitting into a circular drive and emptying out at a porte-cochère topped with a chandelier made of deer antlers.
