A Sleek 77-foot Yacht That Has a Beach Club That Folds Like Origami Piece

Nautor Swan, renowned for its expertise in crafting luxurious sailing yachts, has unveiled its latest masterpiece in the realm of motor yachts. The Finnish shipyard, which has been setting keels since its inception in 1966, introduced the Swan Arrow, a captivating 77-footer, at this year’s prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival. With its graceful design and uncompromising elegance, this vessel now takes its place as the flagship among Nautor’s trio of motor yacht offerings, surpassing its original conception as a chase boat to emerge as a fully-fledged cruiser.

Crafted with a blend of carbon composite and GPR materials, this newcomer exudes the same sleek and sporty aesthetic found in Nautor’s renowned racing yachts. However, the Swan Arrow distinguishes itself by relying solely on three inboard Volvo Penta engines, propelling it to an impressive top speed of 40 knots at full throttle. This remarkable velocity is second only to the yard’s 43-foot Swan Shadow powerboat, capable of reaching a remarkable 55 knots.

Designed by the accomplished Jarkko Jamsén of the motor yacht division, the Swan Arrow aims to encapsulate all the opulent features of a superyacht within a more compact and manageable package. One of its defining features is the expansive walkaround deck, allowing passengers to relish life on the water. The pièce de résistance on the exterior is the aft beach club, complete with foldable platforms, reminiscent of origami, which unfolds to create an abundant waterside space spanning approximately 538 square feet.

Above deck, the cockpit boasts a sunroof and sliding doors, offering the choice of a breezy, alfresco atmosphere when open or a cozy, sheltered ambiance when closed. Below deck, the living quarters exude a “home-like feeling” and can comfortably accommodate up to six guests in a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, and a twin cabin. Alternatively, an alternative layout option features two spacious double cabins with a centrally located lounge area for those seeking a more spacious relaxation area. Additionally, the vessel is equipped with crew quarters capable of accommodating two crew members.

Anticipated to grace the seas by the upcoming summer, the Swan Arrow may soon be joined by another noteworthy addition. Nautor Swan also introduced the Swan 80, an 80-foot sailing yacht, at Cannes; however, an estimated launch date for this exceptional vessel has yet to be disclosed.
