Shark Tank’ Star’s $38 Million Sky-High N.Y.C. Penthouse

Roughly a year ago, Robert Herjavec caused quite a stir by splurging $26 million on an estate in Hidden Hills, a gated Los Angeles enclave renowned for being the stomping ground of numerous Kardashian family members and other A-list celebrities. This jaw-dropping transaction set a new record for the highest-ever home purchase price in this exclusive community.

Given his penchant for luxury properties, it’s not entirely unexpected that Herjavec, a seasoned judge on Shark Tank and the founder and CEO of a prominent IT security company, has now decided to part ways with one of his many opulent residences—specifically, a breathtaking penthouse located high above the bustling streets of New York City.

Currently listed at $38.5 million, Herjavec’s New York abode occupies an entire upper floor of One57, an iconic 75-story skyscraper nestled on Manhattan’s famed “Billionaires’ Row.” The entrepreneur acquired this penthouse nearly three years ago, forking out approximately $32 million for the privilege.

Accessible via a private elevator landing, the sheer grandeur of this mansion-sized condo becomes evident from the moment one steps into the 26-foot-wide foyer, which offers dual entrances to the home’s expansive “grand salon.” This impressive great room boasts awe-inspiring vistas framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch across 58 feet, providing sweeping views of Central Park, the sprawling New York skyline, and beyond.

Every aspect of the penthouse, from its meticulously crafted finishes to its bespoke furnishings, exudes sophistication and luxury. Venetian plaster ceilings overlook glossy Brazilian herringbone wood floors, while the kitchen dazzles with custom lacquered millwork and top-of-the-line Miele and Sub-Zero appliances. A built-in banquette and a separate formal dining area offer stunning panoramas of the cityscape, ensuring memorable dining experiences.

Spanning 6,240 square feet, the residence comprises four ensuite bedrooms, including a lavish 1,350-square-foot primary suite nestled in its private wing. Here, an elegant sitting area, a sumptuous dressing room, and a hand-carved marble bathtub provide the epitome of indulgence. Each bathroom is adorned with travertine or exotic marble slabs, and every room features custom motorized shades for added convenience.

Additional highlights include a state-of-the-art home automation system, while building amenities abound, ranging from valet parking and a health club with a gym to a private pool and spa, various dining and screening rooms, a library, billiards room, and 24/7 concierge services. Notably, pet owners will appreciate the convenience of the on-site pet spa. However, such luxurious amenities come with a hefty price tag, as the monthly HOA bill surpasses $11,800.

In addition to his Hidden Hills estate, Herjavec boasts several other multimillion-dollar properties, including a bayfront retreat in Newport Beach, California, a $15 million mansion in Sydney, Australia, and a waterfront residence in Canada’s Muskoka Lakes township.
