NFL Star Maxx Crosby’s Las Vegas Estate

Bolstered by a lucrative four-year, $94 million contract extension, three-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby is making a move in the real estate game, splurging on a chic Las Vegas residence nestled within the prestigious guard-gated Mountain Trails community in Summerlin. With a price tag slightly over $5.6 million, the acquisition was first disclosed by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Known as “Madd Maxx” to devoted Las Vegas Raiders fans, Crosby, the NFL’s fourth highest-paid defensive end, scored a bargain on the contemporary abode. Originally listed by local dentist Bill Dickerson for nearly $13 million in winter 2020, the property was snagged by Dickerson for $2.8 million back in 2003. Subsequent reports suggest he acquired the adjacent lot, merged the properties, and added a second structure featuring a lavish indoor basketball court with an upstairs viewing gallery, complete with a fireside lounge, kitchenette, and sweeping views of the valley.

Situated on a spacious 1.2-acre plot and constructed in 2002, Crosby’s new estate boasts seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and over 20,500 square feet of living space spread across two levels. Throughout the residence, marble floors, lofty ceilings, and expansive glass walls create an ambiance of luxury. Alongside the impressive basketball court, notable amenities include a movie theater, wine cellar, billiards room, and gym.

A gated motorcourt with six garage spaces offers ample parking, while a separate gated entrance leads to the grand wood-and-glass front door via a fountain-adorned pathway. Inside, a sprawling double-height great room features a sunken dining area with a fireplace and a nearby living space equipped with a wet bar. A family room leads to a gourmet kitchen outfitted with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, dual islands, high-end stainless appliances, and a walk-in pantry.

Ascending the curved staircase to the upper level reveals a lavish master retreat boasting a window-lined sitting area, private balcony, walk-in closet, and a spa-inspired bath featuring dual vanities and a luxurious marble-clad soaking tub. Outside, the landscaped grounds offer a boulder-lined swimming pool and spa, an in-ground trampoline, and various areas perfect for outdoor relaxation and entertaining, including a built-in barbecue and fire pit.

In addition to their newly acquired Summerlin estate, Crosby and his wife Rachel Washburn reportedly maintain a nearly 3,000-square-foot home in Henderson, Nevada, purchased for $480,000 in 2020.
