The New 262-foot Superyacht with a Glass-enclosed Pavilion

Sinot, a prominent Dutch design studio, introduces its latest superyacht concept, named “Aware,” which redefines the relationship between luxury living and the great outdoors. This sleek 262-foot vessel departs from the conventional superstructure design, opting instead for a glass-enclosed pavilion that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding environment. Moreover, its open-plan layout seamlessly merges the interior and exterior spaces, extending across all three decks.

Sinot’s innovative approach includes a reduction in the overall gross tonnage while enhancing the size and opulence of frequently utilized living areas. The expansive beach club, for instance, boasts lofty 10-foot ceilings, expandable terraces, and a sliding glass facade. This remarkable space also hosts a well-appointed gym, a stylish bar, a cinema, a waterside dining area, and a generously sized pool.

Sander Sinot, the founder of the design studio, emphasizes the yacht’s design philosophy, stating, “The principle of maximizing space and reducing GT yields with a distinct, sleek, minimalist, and super-spacious design that focuses on optimizing a number of much-used larger spaces aboard is often requested by experienced owners.

Another noteworthy feature is the reimagined and elevated full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, spanning an impressive 860 square feet. This secluded oasis boasts a comfortable bedroom, an inviting lounge, an ensuite bathroom, a spacious walk-in wardrobe, and a private balcony featuring a luxurious Jacuzzi. Aware further accommodates eight guests in four elegantly appointed staterooms situated around the central staircase and lobby.

The yacht’s interior is a showcase of natural materials complemented by custom hand-crafted furniture. Bathed in an abundance of natural light, the minimalist and sophisticated pavilion incorporates shutters and skylights, while the bright lower decks feature full-length windows.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Aware also demonstrates remarkable cruising capabilities. Equipped with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, the vessel can reach a top speed of 18 knots and boasts a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. It is well-equipped with essential water toys and includes two tenders measuring 34 feet and 27 feet, respectively.

While Aware is currently in the concept stage, Sinot is prepared to commence construction. Additionally, the studio will unveil an impressive five-foot model of the yacht at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, offering a glimpse into the future of superyacht design.
