Introducing Heesen’s New 164-Foot Superyacht

Heesen marked this Christmas with an exceptional gift for a passionate yacht owner, presenting a sophisticated steel superyacht on December 22. Originally designated as YN 20150 or Project Oslo24, the vessel now bears the name Cinderella Noel IV.

Derived from Heesen’s well-received 164-foot steel series, Cinderella Noel IV underwent customization to align with the preferences and requirements of its owner. Employing Heesen’s “Smart Custom” design philosophy, the superyacht provides a proven platform that allows clients to make adjustments efficiently, minimizing construction time.

Designed by Clifford Denn, the exterior boasts graceful, elongated lines and a round-bilge hull. The owner, a seasoned seafarer, introduced personalized features such as a second steering position on the flybridge and a foldable mast, enabling the yacht to navigate under bridges. Additionally, the owner opted for Heesen’s first-ever hybrid propulsion system, ensuring environmentally friendly cruising. Enhanced insulation caters to comfortable living even in colder regions.

Stefan Zucker, the owner’s representative, praised Heesen’s Smart Custom approach, stating, “Cinderella Noel IV is a testament to Heesen’s intelligent approach, allowing this family to create their dream machine with the certainty of a result which would have taken considerably more time and cost to build individually without being sufficiently tested.”

Collaborating with Luca Dini Design and Architecture and Heesen’s in-house engineering team, the owner tailored the layout for extended periods at sea. The living spaces incorporate his and her working areas, with sliding partitions providing privacy when needed. The interior exudes an air of “quiet luxury,” featuring subtle white, greige, and taupe furnishings complemented by rich wood flooring. Accents of deep blues and greens reflect the high-latitude destinations Cinderella Noel IV is designed to explore.

Foglizzo Atelier crafted leather panels adorned with antique sea charts depicting the owners’ favorite cruising spots, while the intricate woodwork conveys the yacht’s connection with nature. The interior is furnished with elegant pieces from Cassina, Paola Lenti, and Toso.

Exterior decks are equally impressive, featuring a glass-bottomed swimming pool, a fire pit, and multiple lounge and dining areas.

Mark Cavendish, Heesen’s Chief Commercial Officer, commended the owners’ dedication, stating, “Cinderella Noel IV is imbued in every detail with the owners’ passion and experience. The energy they have put into creating a yacht that perfectly suits their lifestyle is impressive.”

Cinderella Noel IV is anticipated to officially set sail in March 2024.
