After nearly six years of ownership, which involved a couple of brief periods on the rental market, actor Nick Zano has decided to sell his secluded home nestled deep within the unincorporated Monte Nido wilderness, situated between Malibu and Calabasas. Best recognized for his role as Vince in the sitcom “What I Like About You,” Zano is listing the tranquil estate for just under $3.3 million. He and his long-term acting partner Leah Renee originally purchased the property for nearly $1.6 million in the summer of 2018.
Tucked away beyond a secluded cul-de-sac street and double wooden gates, the private residence is ensconced within park-like grounds adorned with mature oak trees and a seasonal creek. Constructed in the early 1960s and extensively renovated over the years, the rustic ranch-style home boasts an off-white exterior with green trim. Originally from New Jersey, the 46-year-old former MTV host gained prominence for his role as Vince on The WB’s “What I Like About You” alongside Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth in the 2000s. Zano subsequently portrayed the endearing historian-turned-superhero Nate Heywood (“Steel”) on “Legends of Tomorrow,” and more recently, Chad McKnight on “Obliterated.” His acting credits also include appearances in “Happy Endings,” “Two Broke Girls,” and “The Final Destination.”
