Richard Mille’s Pink Tourbillon Watch

A pink driver is a reference to the golfer’s signature color.

Bubba Watson and Richard Mille may have just sunk a hole in one.

For years, Watson has requested that the Swiss watchmaker create a bright pink watch since she has been an ambassador for the brand since 2011. As his signature driver, the eye-catching hue is the same color he has used for most of his professional career, perhaps most notably during charity drives. Watson’s name has been engraved on the new RM 38-02 Tourbillion, and you notice its vibrant color right away.

Rather than having a metal case, the watch is constructed with Carbon TPT and Quartz TPT, two exclusive materials from Richard Mille, making it extremely durable and lightweight. By suspending the time-only tourbillion movement from PVD-treated grade 5 titanium bridges, the striking skeleton dial serves as a stage for the time-only tourbillion movement. Additionally, the watch is equipped with the in-house caliber RM38-02 manual-winding movement. Due to its transparent sapphire caseback, you can examine the movement from both sides.‍

The world record-holding diver Arnaud Jerald tested a new Richard Mille diver at the Les Voiles de St. Barth boat race earlier this month. Watson isn’t the only sports ambassador recruited from the top tier of the sports world. The brand signed Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson last year as another of its new faces, and Rafael Nadal won the Australian Open in January with one of the brand’s $1 million tourbillons.

There are only 50 pieces available of the new Richard Mille RM 38-02 Tourbillion, so if you’re interested, you’ll need to move fast. For more information, visit the Richard Mille website.
