Hublot’s New Collection

The diamonds on the watch trio were all hand-placed, report by Rich Report.

With Hublot’s latest watch series, Hublot has taken a diamond-encrusted watch to a whole new level. While the practice is not new, Hublot has taken it to a whole new level. A total of 3 watches are part of the High Jewellery Collection, all of which have been hand-set with over 300 baguette-cut diamonds in baguette shapes.

As the Big Bang Unico High Jewellery is the first timepiece in the collection, it is a clear indication that the collection is more than just showy accessories. This is made clear by the Big Bang Unico High Jewellery, the collection’s first timepiece. There are 334 baguette-cut diamonds across the 18-karat white gold base of the flyback chronograph, which is powered by the brand’s HUB1280 caliber movement. The diamonds total 12.5 carats in total.

It is only the Spirit of Big Bang High Jewellery that will surpass the Big Bang Unico in terms of beauty and durability. Despite the fact that its sporty tonneau case is loaded with 346 baguette-cut diamonds, totaling 13.1 carats, its highly regarded HUB4700 movement will be just as striking to collectors as it is to the general public. All the surfaces of the watch, including its indices and the buckle of its alligator leather strap, are covered in sparkling stones, as with the other watches in this series.

There is also the Classic Fusion High Jewellery, which is a fashion watch that has a whopping 427 baguette-cut diamonds, amounting to a total weight of 20.8 carats. However, that doesn’t mean you ought to underestimate the horological abilities of this watch. In the end, it is still a mechanical marvel, thanks largely to the HUB1710 self-winding movement.

Despite the fact that each High Jewellery watch has a distinctive look, they are united by a mutual aesthetic elegance, which comes from the meticulous layout of each diamond on each watch, as explained by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe.‍

In a statement, he said that setting the stones on a watch is both a technical and aesthetic endeavor, which had been carefully conceived and determined in advance. As well as being an art form, the discipline has also been described as a science of absolute precision, with the goal of maximising the brilliance of the stones within a very small area. We are driven by our ambitions to overcome such difficult challenges and to combine tradition with innovation.

In keeping with the many, many diamonds in the High Jewellery Collection, you can expect that the price tag will match the number of diamonds included in the collection. You’ll be paying $316,000 for the Big Bang Unico High Jewellery, while you’ll have to pay $369,00 for the Spirit of Big Bang High Jewellery and $369,00 for the Classic Fusion High Jewellery.
