Superyachts can’t compare to the size and style of a multihull power cat.
As ISA Yachts paints outside the lines of superyachts, it is distinguishing itself from its competitors. To expand its fleet, the Italian outfit recently unveiled its first catamaran under the Palumbo Group.
Power cat Zeffiro, which measures 130 feet, combines generous interior space with a design that provides significant advantages over traditional monohulls, according to ISA.
The boat’s 42.6-foot beam creates a volume comparable to a larger vessel, which makes Zeffiro stand out from the rest. There is a lot of natural light in the large interior designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design.
An entire forward area of the main deck of Zeffiro is dedicated to the owner’s suite. In addition to its king-size bed, the bedroom includes a private lounge, walk-in wardrobe, desk, and walk-in closet. With its 1,000-square-foot cockpit and Jacuzzi, the suite leads into the cockpit.
There are approximately 2,150 square feet of living space aft of the main deck, which seamlessly integrates the indoors with the outdoors. According to ISA, the lower deck of the yacht includes four VIP cabins that offer more privacy and space than standard superyacht cabins. On this deck are also the crew quarters, while on the upper deck is the captain’s cabin.
The outdoor area is a great place to relax. This boat is equipped with a hardtop bimini and a bar area on the flybridge, which is ideal for sundowners. An aft lounge opens up to more seating for outdoor lovers, as well as a beach club with fold-out side wings and a gym. Besides toys and tenders, Zeffiro carries a full arsenal on the lower deck at the bow.
With her dual hull and shallow draft, Zeffiro is a great boat for cruising at almost any depth without stabilizers. There are virtually no destinations that are not reachable due to the vessel’s 3,700 nautical mile range.
We believe that ISA Zeffiro will be able to make a huge impact on the yachting industry thanks to the excellent work of the French team from Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, said CEO Giuseppe Palumbo. In order to position ourselves at the high end of the power catamaran market, ISA Yachts decided to diversify its brand offering.
He acquired ISA Yachts in 2016, one of five world-renowned brands he oversees. This power cat could mark the start of a new niche for the Ancona shipyard, already known for its quality superyachts.
