In addition to being hypoallergenic and exceptionally hard, Alumina Toughened Zirconia (ATZ) ceramic also boasts exceptional scratch, shock, and abrasion resistance, which means it is not just any ceramic, but a high-tech composite known as Alumina Toughened Zirconia (ATZ). By injecting aluminum oxide powder tubes at 2,000 bar pressure, the material is formed with enhanced rigidity and minimal porosity, and it will stay blindingly white for years to come.
