Check Out Drake’s $620,000 Roulette Wheel Watch

As part of the celebrity’s ongoing collection of timepieces, the newest addition is inspired by the idea of playing a chance game.

It’s time to discover what your lucky number is when it comes to the latest watch addition to Drake’s impressive collection.

Although he is well versed in custom timepieces, this new Jacob & Co. Astronomia Casino from Jacob & Co. stands out from the rest—and not only because of its $620,000 price tag. This watch, which is modeled after one of the most beloved games of chance in the gambling world, is outfitted with a fully functioning roulette wheel around its intricate face, alternating with an alternating red and black color scheme.

As the name implies, this timepiece is handcrafted with four arms and is reminiscent of a casino. The first is adorned with a ceramic ball that is globe shaped, the second is adorned with a triple-axis tourbillon, the third is adorned with Roman numerals and the fourth is crowned with a 1-carat Jacob-cut white diamond. An official Instagram post from the brand stated that the gem rotates every 30 seconds, so that the 288 twinkling facets of the gem are best taken advantage of.

There are sapphire apertures in the 50mm case of the watch, allowing for a largely clear appearance due to the framework that is made of 18K rose gold. The oscillator that drives the three-axis tourbillon ensures that every element works in perpetual motion. A luxe, richly textured alligator strap perfectly showcases the watch’s striking inner workings.‍

The result is a stunning display, displaying the watch’s striking inner workings in full view. This watch is powered by a hand-wound Jacob & Co. movement that provides a long-lasting power reserve of 60 hours, making it suitable for long stretches between windings. Only 88 pieces of the limited-edition design will ever be made over the course of its lifetime.

It should not be surprising at all that Jacob & Co. is able to create such a striking watch, as it was inspired by anything and everything – including oil pumps. Jacob & Co. was established in New York in 1978 and has built a reputation for its inventive designs. No one would be surprised if Drake, who has been known to enjoy a watch that pushes the design envelope, made a return trip soon.
