Tiger Woods To Debut Sun Day Red Clothing Line

Golf enthusiasts are accustomed to seeing Tiger Woods adorned in Nike attire as he navigates the course. However, a shift is on the horizon as the golfer recently revealed his forthcoming clothing line, Sun Day Red, in collaboration with Taylor Made.

Due to ongoing health challenges, Woods has curtailed his tournament participation. Although he is slated to play in the upcoming Genesis Invitational this week, it marks his first tournament since an early withdrawal from the 2023 Masters.

Woods established a prosperous and enduring relationship with Nike, with the sporting apparel giant signing him at the age of 20 when he transitioned to professional golf in 1996 after a successful stint at Stanford University. Known for its collaborations with iconic athletes like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Russell Wilson, Nike’s endorsement deal with Woods has reportedly contributed a substantial $500 million to his wealth.

Recognized for his strategic business acumen, Woods’ net worth is largely derived from endorsements, with less than half stemming from PGA Tour earnings. His distinctive preference for the color red, often worn on Sundays, the final day of many golf tournaments, holds personal significance. Woods attributes this affinity to his mother, Kutilda, who deemed red his “power color.” The upcoming clothing line, Sun Day Red, derives its name from this connection.

While Woods won’t showcase the new apparel at the Genesis Invitational this weekend, Sun Day Red is scheduled to debut on May 1st, missing the Masters but coinciding with the PGA.
