Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, has asserted that the upcoming Tesla Roadster is poised to achieve an unprecedented acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in less than 1 second. Musk shared this ambitious claim in a recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, where he described the Roadster as a revolutionary product that defies conventional categorization as a car.
In Musk’s words, “There will never be another car like this, if you could even call it a car. I think it has a shot at being the most mind-blowing product demo of all time. Oh, and it’ll apparently hit 60 mph in less than one second.”
The Tesla Roadster, which made its debut in 2008 and ceased production in 2012, is set for a triumphant return with the announcement of its second generation in 2017. However, despite the initial hype, production of the new Roadster is yet to commence.
