Lamborghini’s Huracán Sterrato Bike

A design cue from the off-roading supercar is used in the construction of the two-wheeler.

It turns out that you can buy the new Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato with two or four wheels. This may sound odd, but the Italian marque has partnered with 3T to develop a special gravel bike based on its new off-roader. While this two-wheeler lacks the mechanical power of its namesake, it will be able to venture to places coupes cannot.‍

Besides the final Huracán, this stylish bike is also derived from 3T’s Exploro RaceMax, the company’s fastest gravel bike. According to HiConsumption, the Italian-made frame of the bike comes in four sizes—51, 54, 56 and 58 inches—inspired by the design of the supercar. In order to increase strength and stiffness without adding additional weight, the ultra-aerodynamic structure is primarily carbon fiber and injected with RTM resin. A matte Verde Gea and black with orange accents paint scheme echoes that of the four-wheeler.

Obviously, a bike designed for gravel riding should do more than just look good. Fortunately, it sounds like the Exploro RaceMax x Huracán Sterrato is capable of holding its own, even without the supercar’s 5.2-liter V-12 engine. No matter how treacherous the terrain may be, 3T’s proprietary drivetrain, Fango RaceMax fork, Apto Stealth stem, Sram Red brakes, and 3T’s own proprietary drivetrain will get you around any course or trail with speed. Likewise, the 700c Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tires are capable of handling both on- and off-road conditions.

You can order the Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato now from the 3T website for $15,000. That may seem high, but you’re only paying about 1/20th of the price of the other Sterrato. In addition, if you want an Huracán Sterrato that’s not a car, you can always check out Roger Dubuis’ Excalibur Spider, which was inspired by the supercar as well.
