The social media sensation and best-selling author has returned to Florida, where he used to live. In 2012, he relocated to Florida for tax reasons and other business reasons. The Miami-based entrepreneur and his wife Elena Lyons plan to spend less than six months a year at their lavish Malibu vacation home.
With a total of 9,500 square feet spread across two floors, Cardone’s new house is situated on Carbon Beach, the posh strip of sand that is home to Larry Ellison, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Michael Milken, among others. In addition to panoramic ocean views, this Cape Cod-inspired mansion boasts polished hardwood floors, a movie theater with captain’s chairs upholstered in royal blue leather, and a marble bathroom.
By Carbon Beach standards, the property measures approximately half an acre. Additionally, it boasts two rare features in oceanfront Malibu homes: a lap-lane swimming pool that hovers directly over the waves, and a grassy lawn. According to Cardone, the house itself was built in 2005 and sold to him in 2014 by Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Shulman for $25 million. His career began as a car salesman, but over the years he has become a real estate investor with a portfolio of apartments and other real estate worth upwards of $2 billion, according to Cardone. Aside from being an influential speaker and trainer, he also writes books, audiotapes, and training classes.
A real estate watcher may recall that Cardone once lived in a sumptuous mansion high above Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. In August 2012, Cardone sold his next-door neighbor, Walmart heiress Sybil Robson Orr, a $17 million spot once owned by Lionel Richie. He still resides in a $28 million Miami estate, owned by Tommy Hilfiger.
The listing was held by Cooper Mount and Sandro Dazzan of The Agency; the buyer was represented by Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates.
