A prominent attorney has made headlines by purchasing Drake’s luxurious “Yolo Estate” in Hidden Hills. Two of those properties were sold by the Canadian music superstar to L.A. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford in April. Now he has offloaded his Tudor-style house, known as the YOLO (You Only Live Once) estate, which measures 16,000 square feet.
In addition to being a partner at international law firm Latham & Watkins and a former U.S. assistant attorney general appointed by Donald Trump, Makan Delrahim is Iran-born. Originally listed for $14.8 million, the property went to Delrahim for a significantly discounted $11.3 million, according to records. Even so, it is still $3.6 million more than Drake paid restaurateur Larry Pollack for the property in 2012.
Located in Hidden Hills, on a three-acre parcel surrounded by equestrian trails, this stucco and terracotta-roof house offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms spread over 12,500 square feet.
