Oceanco’s Simply Custom lineup has welcomed two new members, Storm and Portofino, to its family of 262-foot superyachts. The Simply Custom range, initially revealed at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October 2023, features 17 yachts with unique designs by leading yacht designers.
H2 Yacht Design crafted the latest additions, both equipped with a highly efficient hull designed by Lateral Naval Architects and offering a gross tonnage of approximately 2,500 to 2,700 GT across five decks.
Storm and Portofino focus on environmentally friendly and low-emission propulsion, employing hybrid diesel-electric systems. The consistent design approach across the Simply Custom series ensures adaptability to future propulsion technologies.
Storm boasts a sleek and aggressive profile, merging timeless Bentley coupe lines with a tapered aft end, evoking a sense of speed and elegance from a bygone era. Portofino draws inspiration from the classic style of the Italian fishing village, featuring a timeless design with ruthlessly modern detailing, including a flared bow and a dramatically shaped transom.
Distinctive elements include a sculpted superstructure, tapered decks, and glass bulwarks. Notably, Storm features an open transom cascading down to the water, while Portofino incorporates a main deck pool flowing to the beach club below.
The flexibility of both designs allows accommodation for various client preferences. The Simply Custom series aims to streamline and expedite the customization process for owners without compromising quality.
