In addition to two helipads, two spas, two pools, and two tenders, the multihull has two helipads.
The new trimaran concept from Steve Kozloff is anything but understated.
With its gleaming steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Trident cuts a striking silhouette similar to Poseidon’s famous three-pronged spear and is sure to stand out on the high seas. Furthermore, her six decks provide plenty of options for your leisure or fun.
With more than 5,100 square feet of living space and huge windows for panoramic views, Trident offers a multi-level living quarter with a wide variety of amenities. On the upper deck, you can access other sections of the vessel via a network of walkways, starting with the piano bar and saloon.
There are 682-square-foot owner’s suites on the center hull, plus VIP suites on the two smaller hulls, as well as ten guest’ cabins on the outriggers.
As for the outside, there is a full-beam beach club with retractable decks at the stern. A helipad and a pool are also included in the main hull, so double the fun means double the amenities. Two spas, one aft, and one forward, round out the main hull’s amenities.
As you can guess, there is a full beam garage on the vessel, which can house two tenders as well as the Nemo submarine from U-Boat Worx. The vessel is equipped with a crane system for loading and unloading gear. Under the main deck, there are six self-inflating lifeboats as well.
It joins the Elegante, Glory, and Galleon models as the latest models in Kozloff’s Goliath Series of folding sailing yachts. As with her predecessors, Trident boasts a Solid Sail system created by Chantiers de L’Atlantique. A traditional rig has many advantages, according to Kozloff, including a 70-degree tilting of the two freestanding masts to reduce the vessel’s air draft from 238 feet to 138.5 feet, allowing it to pass under most bridges.
A total of 360 degrees can be turned on each mast in order to maximize wind power. Trident can hit 12 knots under sail power and has a hybrid (diesel-electric) system that allows it to reach a top speed of 17 knots. In one day, she can cruise at 14 knots for 6,700 nautical miles.
