Admiral is committed to ensuring that seafarers experience unobstructed views during their ocean journeys, and its latest explorer yacht concept, the Admiral Explorer 70M, underscores this vision. This flagship offering from the Italian Sea Group boasts extensive glazing on both the hull and superstructure, maximizing panoramic views and exemplifying the hallmark style and quality of Made in Italy.
Measuring 230 feet with a beam just under 43 feet, the Admiral Explorer 70M provides a substantial interior volume of 1,930 GT. Spread across four decks, the living spaces are designed to cater to various needs. The lower deck is dedicated to the crew, while the main deck features two large cabins and two VIP suites. The owner’s suite, situated on its own separate deck, offers a spacious indoor-outdoor lounge and a cinema.
Positioned as a “real jewel,” the explorer yacht is replete with top-tier amenities. The main deck’s bow area stands out with a luxurious observatory boasting 180-degree windows for seafarers to enjoy cinematic vistas. Multiple lounges, dining areas, a storage space for tenders and water toys, and two pools (forward and aft) contribute to the yacht’s allure. It can accommodate a 33-foot limousine, a 33-foot inflatable tender, an 18-foot inflatable RIB, and three Jet Skis. The vessel also features a touch-and-go helipad that can double as an additional entertainment space.
Further highlights include a plush foredeck lounge, a beach club with expanding platforms, and a glass-enclosed wellness area offering breathtaking panoramas. The bridge deck provides additional scenic views, with a wheelhouse covering over 1,000 square feet overseeing the surroundings.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, the Admiral Explorer is estimated to reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The yacht’s robust hull is designed for versatility, suitable for both short excursions and extensive expeditions.
Admiral, established in 1966, has delivered 148 yachts, evolving from its inception with a wooden 59-footer to its current diverse fleet, featuring models ranging from 164 feet to over 328 feet. The launch of the Admiral Explorer 70M reaffirms the yard’s ongoing commitment to innovation.
