An all-white package with style and substance.
A legendary designer, Henri d’Origny, introduced the Arceau line to Hermès in 1978. In every variation of the collection, the models have evoked the spirit of travel. From simple time-only models to complex models, the collection has encompassed a wide range of watches. True to its origins, the latest iteration of the Arceau showcases a uniquely displayed dual time-zone function with city indications and an all-white elegance that’s uniquely Hermès. White is the color of the Arceau Le Temps Voyageur.
At Watches & Wonders earlier this year, the Arceau Le Temps Voyageur debutes in two variations: a classic stainless steel version with a blue color scheme and a 38mm case, and a platinum version with a black color scheme and a titanium bezel coated in DLC, weighing 41 millimeters. Hermès has since added an all-white version to the collection.
The asymmetrical lugs of this ladies’ watch contain Hermès’ exclusive reinterpretation of the “traveling time” mechanism in a round 38mm stainless steel case with asymmetrical lugs. Anyone who says ultra-feminine elements like gems and mother of pearl cannot coexist with impressive functionality has never met this model.
A subdial mounted on a satellite that moves around the dial displays local time while home time is displayed in an aperture at twelve o’clock in this unique interpretation. For Jérôme Colliard’s “Planisphère d’un monde équestre” silk scarf, a beautiful fantasy map is used to set this disc-type display. There are 78 white diamonds set within the gem set bezel of this Arceau Le Temps Voyageur watch, which frames the entire gorgeous display in white mother of pearl. In addition to the pearl gray alligator and calfskin straps, the look can be complete.
