It is noteworthy that Richard Mille has stood as a steadfast partner of the Le Mans Classic since its inception in 2002, consistently fashioning special editions for the event since 2008. Aptly christened the RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic, this celebratory horological masterpiece represents a unique iteration of Richard Mille’s renowned RM 72-01 Flyback Chronograph. Adorned with the official event colors of green and white, this exclusive timepiece exudes an aura of prestige.
The limited edition piece boasts a Quartz TPT case in a harmonious white and green color palette, complemented by a matching white rubber strap. The signature tonneau-shaped case measures 38.4mm x 11.68mm x 47.34mm, retaining the hallmark design that characterizes the RM 72-01 series. Mechanically, it adheres to the established standards of the RM 72-01 lineage. The captivating green and white theme extends to the skeletonized dial, where the date marker and a distinctive Le Mans Classic emblem incorporate chequered flag motifs. Additionally, the “16” notation on the hour counter stands out in striking red.
Beneath the exquisite exterior lies the in-house CRMC-1 caliber, Richard Mille’s inaugural flyback chronograph movement.
