Sofía Vergara is enjoying a romantic vacation!
The Griselda actress, 52, shared a rare Instagram photo of her boyfriend, Justin Saliman, relaxing during their Italian getaway on Tuesday, July 23.
In the post, simply captioned “❤️,” Vergara looked stunning in a form-fitting yellow sundress as she posed indoors on a chair, beaming with a big smile. Her orthopedic surgeon boyfriend was featured next, smiling at the camera while lounging on a sofa bed on a draped deck outdoors. He also appeared in a video on her Instagram Stories.
Vergara began dating Saliman after her divorce from ex-husband Joe Manganiello, following seven years of marriage. The former couple announced their separation in July 2023 and finalized their divorce in February. Vergara and Saliman were first linked in October 2023 after being photographed together at Kim Kardashian’s birthday dinner at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills. Since then, they’ve been seen spending quality time together on several occasions.
On the same day, Vergara shared more vacation photos in another post, captioned, “I’m staying☀️🇮🇹.” The Modern Family alum appeared in a smiling selfie, standing on a hill overlooking a large grassy backyard with a swimming pool and deck chairs. Other photos showed her posing by a large candlestick holder in a dining room and sitting next to a horse head statue outside an equestrian center.
Vergara’s vacation follows her recent outing with Saliman for sushi in Beverly Hills on June 29. This sighting came after she opened up to PEOPLE in May about the challenges of dating in the public eye. “Everything gets so exaggerated. Everything sometimes gets not interpreted the right way,” she said. “So life is already hard. Having relationships is hard. Problems are hard.” She added, “And then to see it out there and be completely changed, you want to be like, ‘What is going on?’ But you just get used to it. It comes with being famous, so you can’t complain that much.”
Vergara’s new romance has the full support of her friend and fellow AGT judge, Heidi Klum. After attending Vergara’s birthday celebration, which Saliman also attended, Klum expressed her happiness for Vergara. Calling Saliman “such a sweetheart,” Klum told Entertainment Tonight, “I want everyone to be happy at the end of the day. You want to walk through life with someone by your side, because what is it if you have all these beautiful things and you travel to the most gorgeous places or whatever it is, or even being at home doing dinner together. You want to do that with a person.”
