Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom seem to be on cloud nine!
On Monday, August 12, the 39-year-old “Firework” singer shared an Instagram carousel featuring her and her fiancé taking a daring leap from a helicopter into the ocean. The first photo captures 47-year-old Bloom holding the camera in selfie mode as the couple jumps out of the aircraft.
The second slide is a montage of clips, starting with Perry filming Bloom and the ocean before turning the camera on herself. The video then shows the couple perched on the edge of the helicopter as Bloom counts down before they plunge into the ocean. Once in the water, Bloom gives a glimpse of them surfacing.
The final slide features a different angle of the couple mid-air as they jump.
Perry captioned the post with lyrics from her new single, “Lifetimes,” writing, “Like the stars are in the sky. You and I will find each other. In every single life.”
Before their shared adventure, Bloom was spotted skydiving from a helicopter with Nikko Gonzalez, the son of Lauren Sánchez, who piloted the aircraft on Thursday, August 8.
Sánchez’s video shows Gonzalez and Bloom chatting while suited up for the skydive, ending with a clip of the two men fist-bumping before taking the leap. She also used Perry’s “Lifetimes” as the soundtrack for the video.
Perry had previously posted about the couple’s recent trip to Ibiza, Spain, on Instagram on August 4. The island was the setting for her “Lifetimes” music video.
The post included a sweet selfie video of her and Bloom enjoying a romantic boat ride on the sea. She playfully beckoned Bloom to get in the frame as they soaked in the serene moment.
The couple also shared glimpses of their vacation in late July, with Perry posting a series of vacation photos on July 21.
In her “Teenage Dream” post, she shared a romantic video of her and Bloom sharing a kiss at sunset, with Perry gently kissing Bloom as he rubbed her back, while she wrapped her arms around his neck.
