Jennifer Lopez is spending the Fourth of July in New York with friends, while her husband Ben Affleck remains in Los Angeles.
After recently returning from a European trip, the 54-year-old entertainer was seen plant shopping in the Hamptons with her manager, Benny Medina. Lopez wore her wedding ring and carried the same woven Dior tote bag she had during her recent Italian vacation.
In the Hamptons, Lopez also had a late lunch at Sant Ambroeus East Hampton on July 2. She dined outside before leaving in her jeep.
Meanwhile, Affleck, 51, was spotted having dinner in Los Angeles with two of his children on July 3, according to photos from The Daily Mail. He was also wearing his wedding ring.
Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Lopez has 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
On July 3, Lopez posted an Instagram video with Emme, seemingly headed to the Hamptons in a jeep.
The Hamptons is a popular vacation spot where Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin hosts an annual Independence Day party, which Lopez and Affleck attended last year.
At the 2023 event, Lopez wore a white ankle-length dress with a tie-front top, showcasing her toned abs, while Affleck matched the casual look with a white tee and jeans. They were accompanied by Affleck’s daughter Violet.
In addition to her recent travels, Lopez has been busy with film and production projects. According to a source, she and Affleck are “doing their own thing” this summer.
“Jennifer’s having a wonderful time in Europe. She loves Italy and visits every year. She’s grateful for a break. The past few weeks have been emotional for her. Ben has been working in L.A. and is spending time with his kids. Everyone seems to be doing okay,” a source told PEOPLE in June.
Despite some marital tension and living separately, Lopez and Affleck have appeared united at several family events recently, including Violet’s graduation ceremony.
Lopez cited the need to spend time with her loved ones as the reason for canceling her This Is Me… Live summer tour in May.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time …,” she shared in a statement on her OntheJLo website.
