As Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric vehicle, the vehicle is called Spectre.

A brand-new fully electric motor car, the Spectre, has been launched by Rolls-Royce. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the public will be able to purchase the first cars.

By 2030, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ entire product range will be electric, which signals the company’s seamless transition to luxury electric cars.

“Spectre has all the qualities that have made Rolls-Royce a legend,” says Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. We developed this incredible motor car as our first fully electric model, which is silent, powerful, and demonstrates how perfectly Rolls-Royce is suited to electrification.

The all-electric powertrain of the upcoming Spectre will continue to sustain the marque’s success and relevance while dramatically expanding its definition of what makes a Rolls-Royce a Rolls-Royce. “We are embarking on a bold new chapter for our marque, our extraordinary clients, and the luxury industry in general.”

As part of Spectre, Rolls-Royce has introduced a system that enhances its renowned quality of ride through a ‘Decentralized Intelligence’ system that allows over 1,000 vehicle functions to communicate with one another.

As both car and brand transition into the electric age, Spectre’s designers capture the aesthetic of the beloved luxury car brand while also embracing modern car technology at its pinnacle. Starlight Doors and Illuminated Fascia, pillars of Rolls-Royce’s ongoing commitment to honoring customers’ desires for flexibility, will also be featured on the Spectre.

In designing this pioneering piece, the designers looked beyond automobiles and drew inspiration from modern yacht concepts, with a particular focus on silhouettes and light reflections.

As with all Rolls-Royce motor cars, the Spectre interior suite offers an almost infinite number of custom options. In tribute to Sir Henry Royce’s Southern France cove where his design team vacationed, the new front seat was inspired by British tailoring, while the coach doors featured Canadel Paneling.

A final product has a length of 215 inches and a width of 82 inches. It seats four people and has two doors. The vehicle has an electric range of 323 miles, and it consumes 2.9 kWh of electricity per mile.
