The “Saturday Night Live” alum Pete Davidson, arguably one of Hollywood’s most unlikely Lotharios, moved to Brooklyn earlier this year after commuting from Staten Island to his Manhattan office. In his native borough of Staten Island, Pete Davidson has put his waterfront condo on the market for a price so close to $1.3 million it’d almost be $1.3 million. The Jason Mitchell Group’s Amy Arnone and Marissa Polo are jointly holding the listing.
The comedian and actor was scrawny and had pasty skin covered in tattoos, but he quickly rose to fame on the arm of reality TV royal Kim Kardashian as a tabloid superstar, briefly being engaged to Ariana Grande and briefly falling in love with Kate Beckinsale. Staten Island is out of Kardashian’s usual orbit, but she called it “amazing,” and business picked up in local eateries and theaters. Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West and Davidson split in October after much petty feuding and name-calling. Emily Ratajkowski, a recently divorced model and actress, has quickly rebounded with the jester that seems irresistible to bombshells.
The Staten Island Advance, the first to discover the listing, noted that the asking price is barely above what Davidson paid two years ago for the seventh-floor unit. (Previously, the weed aficionado lived in the customized basement of his mother’s Staten Island house.) The light-filled corner unit is gussied up with medium-brown wood floors, coved ceiling moldings, and in-ceiling speakers throughout its almost 1,600 square feet.
Among the highlights are a newly renovated bathroom in the main bedroom, quartz countertops at the open-plan kitchen’s peninsula snack bar, and a faux-grassed balcony that overlooks the Staten Island Ferry terminal on one side and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the other, offering a hazy view of lower Manhattan and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge on the other.
The primary bedroom, painted a somewhat surprising shade of pink, also features a newly renovated bathroom, a fitted walk-in closet, and access to the balcony, while the second bedroom, painted a dusty green shade, also has an en-suite.
There is a 24-hour security system, a lobby attendant, a clubhouse, a health club, a tennis court, and a play area for children indoors and outdoors at The Accolade apartment building for pet owners.
