Newsom and his wife, documentary filmmaker Jennifer Siebel Newsom, recently purchased a midcentury modern home in Kentfield, an upscale unincorporated community in Marin County. The couple paid $9.1 million for the property, significantly above its $8.5 million asking price, in a private transaction with billionaire Daniel Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotels fortune. The home, originally listed in summer 2023 for nearly $11.5 million, underwent several price reductions before its final sale.
Built in 1948, the architecturally striking home is nestled on a secluded, nearly one-acre parcel surrounded by lush greenery.
