DJ David Guetta’s $16 Million High-Rise Condo in Miami Beach

In 2018, David Guetta, the renowned DJ and music producer, purchased a luxurious condominium at the Setai Miami Beach for $9.5 million. This stunning property was formerly owned by billionaire Richard LeFrak and is located in one of Miami Beach’s most prestigious buildings. The French DJ, known for his success and substantial earnings, enjoyed sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline from his 37th-floor residence.

Recently, Guetta sold the condo for $16 million, setting a new record for the highest price per square foot ever achieved for a Miami Beach condominium. This recent transaction, reported by the New York Post, was an off-market deal that closed last week. The 2,525-square-foot unit, which features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was purchased by an undisclosed buyer. The sale price translates to an impressive $6,337 per square foot, making it not only the highest per-square-foot price ever recorded in Miami Beach but also the second-highest for a non-penthouse condo in Miami-Dade County.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Guetta, who is 56 years old, had initially made offers on other units within the Setai before securing LeFrak’s condo. The residence offers three exposures, providing the new owner with spectacular daytime views of the ocean and nighttime views of the city skyline. The Setai Miami Beach allows for short-term rentals and extended stays, which proved advantageous for Guetta. During his travels, he reportedly rented out the unit for up to $28,000 per week or $50,000 per month.

The condo features a pristine white design and is equipped with Sonos speakers throughout its open-concept living space. Floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the stunning ocean views from the main living area, which includes a lounge, dining space, and kitchen. The expansive balcony extends the living space outdoors, while the primary bedroom offers its own balcony, an ensuite bathroom, and abundant natural light.

Residents of the 40-story Setai tower enjoy a range of high-end amenities, including three climate-controlled infinity pools and access to the on-site Valmont spa. The building also features a well-equipped fitness center and the renowned Les Clefs d’Or concierge service, adding to the luxury experience.

The sale was facilitated by Corcoran’s Eloy Carmenate, Mick Duchon, and Joshua Winarick, who represented the anonymous buyer, while Michael Wiesenfeld of Corcoran acted as Guetta’s representative in the transaction.

Guetta’s real estate portfolio appears to be expanding in Miami. Last year, he acquired a newly built ultra-modern home on the exclusive Indian Creek Island, a property that was previously listed for $69 million. Indian Creek Island is known for its high-profile residents, including Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, Tom Brady, Carl Icahn, and Jeff Bezos. Additionally, Guetta maintains a large residence on the island of Ibiza, further reflecting his luxurious lifestyle and expanding real estate interests.
