Brad Krevoy’s $8.5 Million Ocean-View Malibu Estate

Entertainment executive Brad Krevoy, known for producing hits like Dumb and Dumber and a host of holiday films for Hallmark and Netflix, is parting with his bluff-top estate in Malibu’s exclusive Sycamore Park neighborhood. Acquired in 2019 for just under $7.8 million, the property has hit the market at nearly $8.5 million. However, potential buyers are likely out of luck—records indicate the home went under contract after just a week on the market. Kathryn Bentzen of Coldwell Banker Realty managed the listing.

Set on a secluded 1.7-acre lot across Pacific Coast Highway from the Pacific Ocean, the estate offers a serene retreat behind high walls and gates. The compound includes multiple structures: an Australian farmhouse-style main residence, a guesthouse, and a pool house equipped with changing facilities and a gym. Altogether, the property encompasses seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms across approximately 6,400 square feet of living space.

The main house exudes charm with its rustic design, complemented by modern touches throughout. The tropically landscaped grounds are a standout feature, blending lush greenery with practical amenities. A network of meandering pathways winds through the property, lined with various fruit trees that enhance the estate’s tranquil atmosphere. Central to the outdoor space is a heated pool and spa, bordered by a decorative fountain on one side and a sun-drenched deck on the other. Adjacent to the pool, a grassy lounging area with a massive fireplace offers a cozy spot for relaxation or entertaining guests.

Additional features include a three-car garage, a separate service entrance, and parking at the lower end of the property. The layout ensures both privacy and convenience, making it a versatile space for family living or hosting gatherings.

Brad Krevoy, co-founder and CEO of the Motion Picture Corporation of America, is a prominent figure in Hollywood. His career spans the financing, development, production, and distribution of over 100 film and television projects. Notable works include the Christmas Prince trilogy, Falling for Christmas, and An Irish Wish for Netflix, as well as the long-running Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. His production of Dumb and Dumber, a blockbuster comedy by the Farrelly Brothers, remains one of his most recognized accomplishments.

Beyond his professional success, Krevoy’s real estate portfolio reflects his penchant for coastal living. In addition to the Malibu estate, he and his wife Susie own a primary residence in Santa Monica, purchased four decades ago for just under $1.5 million. That property, now estimated by Zillow to be worth around $12.7 million, underscores the couple’s long-standing investment in California’s luxury real estate market.

Krevoy’s decision to sell the Malibu retreat highlights a pivotal moment in his real estate journey. While the estate served as a serene getaway, its impending sale signals a shift in priorities for the entertainment mogul. The Sycamore Park property, with its blend of natural beauty, architectural charm, and luxurious amenities, stands as a testament to Krevoy’s refined taste and successful career. Its new owners are poised to enjoy the same privacy and sophistication that made the estate a cherished retreat for the Krevoys.
