The Real Housewives franchise, a fan-favorite in American reality television, first launched in 2006 thanks to Andy Cohen, then Vice President of Original Programming at Bravo. Fast forward nearly two decades, and Cohen, now celebrated as the “king of reality TV” by the Los Angeles Times, has expanded his real estate portfolio to include some impressive properties. One of these trophy homes is set to hit the market soon.

Situated in the sought-after Bing & Bing Bros. building in New York’s West Village, Cohen’s duplex residence is poised to be listed for $14 million later this month, with Ryan Serhant of SERHANT handling the sale. This pre-war apartment spans approximately 3,500 square feet and combines four separate units that have been skillfully renovated by interior designer Eric Hughes and architect Gordon Kahn. Cohen’s journey with this property began in 2003 when he purchased one unit, followed by additional acquisitions of neighboring units from 2014 to 2021. The most significant purchase occurred in April 2014, when Cohen acquired a unit for $2.5 million, according to property records.

The residence features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an additional powder room spread across two stories. It includes two fireplaces and benefits from abundant natural light, courtesy of its 25 windows, which offer sweeping views of the city skyline. Reflecting Cohen’s vibrant personality, the home showcases a lively use of color, patterns, and playful design elements throughout. Notably, Cohen’s second-floor office, dubbed “the Clubhouse,” boasts a striking gold disco ball suspended over a walnut, steel, and glass staircase.

Among the standout features is a bold lipstick-red powder room with a stylish vanity, complemented by a cocktail bar adorned with silver leaf, offering ample space for an extensive collection of spirits, from Clase Azul to Bowmore. The primary suite, in contrast, adopts a more subdued palette with cool gray walls, juxtaposed with a distinctive purple rug and a large, plaid-patterned bed in olive green and red. The en-suite bathroom includes dual sinks, a spacious soaking tub, and a separate shower clad in dark blue tiles.

Cohen’s decision to sell this property after over two decades is likely influenced by his recent acquisition of a spacious penthouse in the West Village, which he purchased in 2022 for $18.2 million. Additionally, Cohen owns a custom-built oceanfront retreat in the Hamptons, further expanding his impressive real estate collection.
