While specific technical details are currently limited, Hill Helicopters has disclosed that the cabin is designed for five occupants, comprising one pilot and four fortunate passengers. The HX50 will be propelled by a 500-horsepower turboshaft engine, facilitating a maximum cruise speed of 140 knots and a payload capacity of up to 1,760 lbs.

Externally, this high-end helicopter showcases a three-blade primary rotor and a distinctive shrouded tail rotor. The landing gear appears to be retractable, and the glasshouse assures unobstructed views of the surroundings. Hill Helicopters is actively working on constructing three HX50 prototypes scheduled for test flights by 2022. If all goes as planned, the initial deliveries to customers are anticipated to commence by 2023.
